Therapy that treats and prevent diseases by means of moxa wool
Transmit heat to points or other locations of the body, warm the channels and collaterals, invigorating the flow of Qi and Blood, strengthen the body resistance and expel pathogens

A. Direct Moxibustion 直接灸:
i. Scaring Moxibustion, indicated for chronic diseases like asthma, TB and chronic pains (Wound Care Needed)
ii. Non Scaring Moxibustion, indicated for cold and deficiency disorders like chronic diarrhea and indigestion

B. Indirect Moxibustion 间接灸 / 隔物灸:
i. Moxibustion with ginger (Ginger-isolated moxibustion, indicated for symptoms caused by weakness and cold of spleen and stomach such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, painful joints and other symptoms due to Yang deficiency
ii. Moxibustion with garlic (Garlic-isolated moxibustion), has the effect of relieving pain and swelling, indicated early stage of skin ulcer with boils, scrofula

B. Indirect Moxibustion 间接灸 / 隔物灸:
iii. Moxibustion with salt (Salt-isolated moxibustion), effective for restoring Yang from deficiency shock syndrome, symptoms of sweating, cold limbs and weak pulse resulting from acute vomiting and diarrhea caused by cold pathogens, flaccid type of wind-stroke and post-partum fainting
iv. Moxibustion with monkshood cake, has the effect of warm and strengthening the kidney-Yang
