7. In the Southwest it is very hot in summer. It is also dry and damp. Some mountain areas can be cold and snowy. The highest temperature it could go is 157 F. the coldest temperature it could go is 50 F.

8. In Texas they have crude oil and the dry land is for ranching. In Arizona they have gold, silver, copper and grain. In New Mexico they have minerals. Minerals are the most richest natural resources. In Oklahoma they have the greatest natural resources. Oklahoma has its fertile soil and its mineral wealth.
