2. the QL kpi module produces KPI information from your Housing management IT system. monitor KPI information throughout the year, not just at year end. have complete visibility of your performance in the context of your statutory returns, 365 days a year. better information = better decisions better decisions = increased success

3. the kpi module runs in a web browser. users log in with an ID and a password

4. the user then sees the main panel, showing the current KPI information – each line represents a PI. english, scottish and welsh KPI’s are provided

6. by selecting a PI, the user can view the description and the method of calculation – important for auditing purposes

8. by selecting a value, the user ‘drills down’ to a more detailed level – the figures analysed by months in the selected year

9. the user may then drill down further, to view the PI information as a ‘cube’ – which means the user can analyse the information by any perspective

11. the user can select a perspective to analyse by – for example area office, scheme, etc

12. the sub-set of information is then shown on screen, and the user can change back to original view whenever they like

13. any PI analysis can then be printed as Adobe PDF, extracted to excel, or output as a TIFF file for inclusion in a committee report. You can also extract as XML

14. the user can also apply filters at any stage, to include or exclude certain information (for example just one area office)
