5. Season Timeline Pre-Season Camp – August 7th - 9th (9:00 – 11:00); $60 Try-Outs – Beginning week of August 11th; 2:45 – 5:45 Season Kick-off Social – Saturday, August 23rd Practices, daily after school, excluding match days, at AHS Regionals/State: October (Varsity) Banquet: 3rd week of October

Team Format Varsity – 11 players; #’s 1,2,3 singles and #’s 1,2,3,4 doubles – Alternates may be selected to practice with varsity but play primarily JV matches – 1 mid-season tournament JV – All doubles teams; play as many boys as the opposing team can provide (typically 8 – 12 teams) – Away matches are nearby the high schools where varsity playing – Home matches played at Powell – Mid-season tournament

7. Summer Tennis Colorado Junior Team Tennis (JTT) – Runs June – August; find teams at USTA.com USTA Tournaments – USTA.com, 2014 Big Book of Colorado Tennis Drills – 6/2 – 6/6 & 7/28 – 8/1 – Run by Coach Soz – $75/week
