WHAT IS AN ELEVATOR SPEECH? TITLE 3 A short speech that sells something. In this instance the speech you are giving is about SELLING YOU!!

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT? TITLE 4 Selling yourself or “marketing” yourself is essential as you network and interview for your next position.

5 No one can “market” themselves better than you! Your 60-90 second spiel about who you are! How are you different? Why are you memorable? This is invaluable as you search for your dream job! ADD VALUE TO THE JOB INTERVIEW

Think of a question that you’ve been asked in an interview Recall the story you used Write down your bullet points under S, T, A and R Share your story with your neighbor, but DO NOT TELL THEM WHAT QUESTION YOU ARE ANSWERING Your neighbor will share what question or theme in which they think your story would best apply Switch roles
