Process Overview Kick-off Meetings  During Project Kickoff Meetings in April and May of 2014, several Municipal OEM Coordinators mentioned that mitigation measures in the current SDVR HMPs involved problems that their municipalities could not resolve on their own.  SW LLC and the Steering Committee agreed to focus attention on these multi-jurisdictional measures during the NJ4 HMP process 12

13. Process Overview Municipal Work Sessions  During Work Sessions in the summer and fall of 2014, Municipal Work Groups reviewed the mitigation measures included in the SDVR HMPs and flagged mitigation measures that they believe require a multi-jurisdictional approach 13

14. Process Overview Municipal Appendices  The Work Groups included the SDVR HMP multi- jurisdictional mitigation measures in their Municipal Appendices and identified additional problems in their municipality they believe require other agencies or organizations to implement 14

17. Process Overview Caveat  It is important to recognize that some of the multi- jurisdictional mitigation measures identified by the Municipal Working Groups may not be considered “county responsibilities” by county agencies and departments (or other agencies and organizations) 17
