Regional Ocean Partnerships 1) Implementation of activities that contribute to achieving the priorities identified by Regional Ocean Partnerships (ROPs) while also advancing CMSP as envisioned in the national CMSP Framework. 2) ROP Development and Governance Support for administration and operations of existing ROPs, and for start- up costs of those regions beginning ROPs.

Coastal Resilience Networks (CRest) Helping Pacific Island, Gulf of Mexico, and West Coast communities become more resilient to the threats posed by coastal hazards. Connect existing federal, state, and local programs Engage the public in risk management Address preparedness, recovery, vulnerability, and adaptation Contact: Penny Larin (808) 532-3973 Penny.Larin@noaa.gov

Coastal Storms Program Primary objective to solicit proposals that will help to make Pacific Island communities safer and more resilient to hazards and coastal storms. Risk and vulnerability assessment (maps, plans, policy and research) Hazard impact, assessment, and mitigation planning Outreach and education Planning and policy Sea-level rise and storm surge inundation research and planning Disaster resiliency, response, and recovery

Community-based Marine Debris Prevention & Removal Grants Program Supports locally driven, community-based marine debris prevention and removal projects that benefit coastal habitat, waterways, and wildlife including migratory fish. Through this program, NOAA has funded 50 marine debris removal projects and removed more than 1,500 metric tons of marine debris from our oceans since 2006. Contact: Tia Brown (808) 944-2109 Tia.Brown@noaa.gov

Community-based Coastal Restoration Grant Program In partnership with the Hawaii Community Foundation, provides funding for on-the-ground coastal and marine restoration projects led by local community groups and community- based partnerships. Contact: Tia Brown (808) 944-2109 Tia.Brown@noaa.gov Priorities include: Restoring and protecting coral reef habitat, coastal wetlands and estuaries Restoring traditional cultural infrastructure that enhance and benefit coastal ecosystems. Reducing aquatic invasive species; and Addressing and reducing land-based sources of pollution
