Aphrodite’s Roman Counterpart Is Venus. She Was Intended As the “Queen of Pleasure.” Venus Is Often Associated With Her Lover Mars, God of War. She Was the Nature Goddess, Associated With the Arrival of Spring. It Was Venus Who Brought Joy to Gods and Mortals.
