 Hera is described as a beautiful woman wearing a crown and holding a royal lotus- tipped staff.  This makes her different from other gods because not all gods are from a royal state or wear crowns.  Hera has no weapon but she has a pet peacock.

 Hera is the goddess of marriage, child birth, empire, and kings.

 Hera married Zeus, who is also her twin brother.  Mother of Ares, and Hephaestus.  Hera’s siblings are Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, Hestia, and Demeter.

 Hera would sometimes be jealous of Zeus because he was so powerful.  She has an addiction to perfection.  Hera killed her son by pushing him off of Mt. Olympus.

 Hera doesn’t have many friends.  People who help her out though are Zeus, and her children.

 Hera would usually be found in a hospital/doctors office helping with childbirth.  Also, you may find Hera in a foster care helping with young children.

 The Pomegranate symbolizes fertility because she was the god of childbirth.  The peacock was the symbol of immortality.
