Learning Objective: Given a variety of measurement tools, the student will be able to accurately measure objects at random with 100% accuracy. Content Standard: Measure and estimate lengths in standard units. Accomplishment: Students develop understanding and recognize the need for standard units of measurements.

What is Measurement? MeasurementMeasurement is finding a number that shows the size or amount of something. Measuring how long things are, how tall they are, or how far apart they might be are all examples of length measurement.
