What would it mean to flee from a stranger? 1. We should test what we do, say or hear (I John 4:1). 2. We should stay as far away from error and falsehood as possible. One Flock and One Shepherd (John 10:1-18)

III. Jesus’ Flock Needs Protection From Danger. The thief comes to “destroy” (vs. 10) The thief doesn’t come through the door (i.e. Jesus - vs. 1, 7-9). One Flock and One Shepherd (John 10:1-18)

How Does This Apply? The Lord’s church faces dangers from false doctrine and sin (Acts 20:28-30). Those who would tolerate sin and error are like the hireling or the thief (II Timothy 2:15-18). One Flock and One Shepherd (John 10:1-18)
