2.  Insects are all over but there are many misunderstandings of what an insect is.  This presentation will teach you how to identify an insect. You will learn what makes an insect an insect.  Let’s get started!

3.  To be able to identify an insect you will have to know what an insect is.  Here are some questions to think about:  What is an insect?  Does it have four legs?  Does it have antennas?  What do they look like?

5.  An insect is a small arthropod animal that has six legs and generally one or two pairs of wings. Count the legs to see which is an insect.
