2.  Ticks can carry a lot of infection. One infection is Lyme disease. People can pick up ticks while hiking and camping.

3.  Have kids dress in long sleeved shirts.

4.  If you see a red bump with a red ring around it that’s a sign of Lyme disease.

5.  Use insect repellant with DEET.

6.  Have your kids check for ticks bites at the end of each day.

7.  Don’t have your kids feed wild animals.

8.  Go to the doctor if the tick is on you more than 24 hours.
