9 Turbomeca Manufacturing Overview… Dedicated to the manufacture of helicopter engine components for the “Arriel 1E2” engine platform. The Arriel 1E2:  The most powerful of the Arriel 1 family of engines (28 versions)  Delivers 738 shaft horsepower (SHp) at take-off First Arriel engines (versions 1A and 1B) were launched in 1977. ~ 8,000 engines produced with more than 22 Million accumulated operating hours. The Arriel 1E2 powers Eurocopter’s UH-72A. The US Army has ordered 322 of these helicopters for the Light Utility Helicopter Program (LUH).

10 Turbomeca Manufacturing Overview… Plant Information: 3 Production Lines + HT/NDT Capabilities in 100,000 sq. ft. $50M investment in plant and equipment. Diverse Manufacturing Base: High-Precision & Complex Machining, Milling & Grinding Multiple Fabrication Methods – Welding (4), Laser, EDM, etc… Wide use of robotic and automated manufacturing cells. Precision metrology & CMM’s Full complement of NDT Inspection methods FPI, Macro-Etch, X-Ray, UT, Eddy Current, Visual Tools Current Employee Count = 98 112 planned by end of 2011 No turbine assembly or testing.

14 Turbomeca Manufacturing Overview… Quick reminders for the tour…  No cameras are allowed in the building.  Safety glasses are required in the manufacturing areas. Glasses will be available.  Open-toed shoes are not allowed in the plant.  Please observe all posted safety signs & stay with your tour guides.  Parking at the plant is limited. Carpooling from SPCC would be appreciated.  Please proceed directly into the plant when you arrive. Tour groups will be formed and tours will begin as people arrive.  Feel free to checkout the Army, Coast Guard and NC State Govt helicopters after the tour.
