3. 1.What country has the largest column? What are the reasons that you think that this country has the highest amount? The country with the largest column is the United States. The United States has the highest amount because it is a developed country. It has a high GDP. The United States has the highest number of internet users. 2. What country has the smallest/lowest? What reasons would cause this country to have a low amount? The country that has the lowest amount of internet users is Liberia. The reason I think Liberia, has the smallest amount of internet users is because Liberia is a developing country. Internet is not available every where. 3.Look at the 5 th and 6 th ranked countries. Are they developed, developing, or one of each? Why do you think that they are where they are in the rankings? Use data to help you answer the question. Canada is the 5 th ranked country because not a lot of people live there, so there are not as many people to use the internet. The Philippines is ranked 6 th because the GDP per capita is lower than most countries, so most people probably can’t afford the internet. Canada is a developed country. The Philippines is a developing country. 4.Look at the 7 th and 8 th ranked countries. Are they developing countries? If so, what do they need to do in order to get to the top half of the rankings? Use data from any information to help you answer the question. Guatemala and Iran are developing countries. To get to the top half of the rankings, they have to get a higher population. That will get a higher GDP. Then more people would have money, so more people could afford to have internet. 5.Name another country (other than the US) that stands out to you on the chart. Describe the country and what type of impact it has on world consumption. Germany stands out to me. It is 2 nd ranked on my data graph internet users. It has one of the highest GDPs on my data. Germany is a highly developed country. It exports many goods all over the world. They export high technology goods.

Iran is a developing country. The United Kingdom is a developed country. United Kingdom is not very big. Iran has a lot of bad living areas. 4.Look at the 7 th and 8 th ranked countries. Guatemala is the 8 th ranked country. Canada is the 7 th ranked country. Guatemala’s area is not very big. In Canada most of the places are to cold to live in. 5.Name another country (other than the US) that stands out to you on the chart. Describe the country and what type of impact it has on world consumption. Russia stands out to me. Russia is a huge country. It is a developed country. There are a lot of people, and because Russia is a developed country the people there consume a lot.

The country with the lowest amount of physician density is Liberia. I think it has a low amount because it is a very poor country. 3.Look at the 5 th and 6 th ranked countries. Panama is the 6 th ranked country. Canada is a developed country. Panama is a developing country. Panama must have a government that thinks health is important. They are both developing countries. To get in the top half of the ranking they need to get a higher get a higher GDP. Germany stands out to me. Germany is a small country. In Germany everyone has health insurance, and can go to the doctor when ever they need to. They only have a low or no copay.
