16 This picture is still widely identified as showing Gavrilo Princip's arrest. However, the figure under detention does not resemble Princip and is perhaps another member of the group of assassins. It has also been suggested that he is a German passerby who saved Princip from being lynched and was seized in the confusion of the moment 1911 Graf und Stift Rois De Blougne tourer in which the Archduke Francis Ferdinand was riding at the time of his assassination.
