3  1880 Bliss had a store and a Saloon  1910 grand opening of Bliss as a town  Ranchers and farmers were well established  David and Lydia Bliss the founders

4  By 1912 Bliss’s population and population grew  WWI is coming  Bliss grew due to the demand for horses and cattle

5  Gooding County Leader, advertised that all possible horses be sold to the American and British Cavalry and artillery  Wild Horses rounded up

6  Many of the residents had patriotism, and joined the war effort  In 1918 After the Armistice Bliss celebrated with a parade

7 During 1921 to 1933 like the rest of America Bliss was hit hard by the Great Depression In 1934 the area got hit hard by drought many moved on, but many stayed 1983 Bliss celebrated its centennial Bliss survives today
