1 “Lose” 1. “Lose” is a verb which means to misplace or come to be without something. EX: James Bond can LOSE anyone who is chasing him. EX: Somehow I always manage to LOSE my car keys!

2 “Lose” 2. “Lose” is also a verb meaning to fail to win or to face defeat EX: If they don’t score more points they will LOSE the game. EX: The Lions managed to not thoroughly LOSE this season
