After class, Jane and Bob are talking in the classroom. They are talking about a wonderful HBL game they watched yesterday. (J = Jane, B = Bob)

B: It sure was. When our team scored in the last seconds, I went crazy. fantastic J: Yesterday’s HBL game was fantastic! J: Me too. But, win or lose, I always get excited and have a good time. B: Right. When our players hear us cheer, we know they will try their best for us.

B: Well, they say that the NBA games on TV are more fun to watch. J: Oh, but we must tell them a is more exciting. J: So, why don’t we invite some of our classmates to tomorrow’s game? They’ll love it. live game live game

3. When our players hear us cheer,.... 此為感官動詞的用法。「感官動詞+受 詞」後面若要再接動作,則使用原形動 詞或現在分詞。本句 cheer 為原形動詞。 感官動詞除了 hear 之外,還有 see, watch, notice, listen to, feel 等,這些動詞加上受 詞後,受詞後面接的動作必須用原形動 詞或現在分詞。例:
