Fact is a statement that can be proven to be true Destiny Hope Cyrus (better known as Miley - short for Smiley) got her optimistic name because her parents (country singer - Billy Ray Cyrus and his wife Tish Cyrus) expected great things from their little one. Miley successfully played “Young Ruthie” on the film, “Big Fish”. Disney was interested in her and eventually developed the role of Miley Stewart on Hannah Montana.Hannah Montana went on to be a great show and launched Miley’s dynamic recording career with the release of the Hannah Montana Soundtrack.
