2 Stealing Stealing for Friendship Stealing because of Hunger Stealing for Happiness

5/13/20153 Stealing for Friendship Liesel starts out alone Every criminal needs a partner in crime, where Rudy comes in “..there are many things that bought Rudy and Liesel together, but it was stealing that cemented their friendship completely.” Two is most definitely better then one

5/13/20154 Stealing for Friendship Time is the cement of friendship? Yes! They needed and relied on each other to be ready They were an irreplacable team

5/13/20155 Stealing because of hunger Liesel and Rudy are from the poor part of Molching Fact: Rudy was constantly hungry. The drive to first steal Ate all of the apples, were sick Their greatest victory; ‘““Do you feel bad?” Liesel finally asked (To Rudy)… “Of coarse I do, but I’m not hungry anymore Finally full after a life of hunger

5/13/20156 Stealing because of Hunger Sure Liesel was pretty hungry but her hunger was in books ‘“You hungry?” Rudy asked. Liesel replied. “Starving.” For a book.’ Literature gives her life, what her heart desires They needed to steal to get what they couldn’t otherwise Everything they had to work for, even if that means going against morals You have to sacrifice to get what you want

5/13/20157 Stealing for Happiness When it came down to it, Rudy and Liesel loved to steal Brang joy and a buzz, a reward in itself They enjoyed being with the stealing gang, new leader, they’re were out! Rudy covered in manure, needs cheering up ‘“I need a win, Liesel. Honestly.” She knew… Stealing. They had to steal something.’

5/13/20158 Stealing for Happiness Stealing made them win, be built up, forget about struggles ‘The girl (Liesel) couldn’t help it. Her hands itched, her pulse split and her mouth smiled all at the same time.’ A new form of their bodies took over, they could be anything they want to be Adrenaline, instinct fuelled them More rightfully own things Stealing brings adventure, excitement and uniqueness.

5/13/20159 Stealing for a cause Stealing, considered a sin, frowned upon is portrayed in a positive light Not once I consider Liesel and Rudy’s stealing but see the good For friendship, because of hunger and for happiness We need these things; company, fulfilment, joy What is the real cost of stealing?
