Carissa: The Little Red Engine

Inclusion for Carissa: Full Inclusion, All the Way She’s the little red engine chugging up the hill. She’s extremely bright, inquisitive, independent, adorable…She captivates people. She learns by imitation. That’s why she needs to be with normally developing peers. As far as her education is concerned – what’s important is not the product but the process by which she learns You’re a mother on a mission, with a vision. Go for it!

Inclusion for Rafael: Going to School with his Brother El es la alegria de la casa. El lleva una vida normal – igual que los demas (He is our happiness. He lives a normal life, just like the others) No ibamos a hacer fuerza – a tratar de luchar que lo dejaran ahi, porque ellos son los que saben…uno no puede oponerse (We weren’t going to put any pressure – to fight for him to stay there because they are the ones who know – you really can’t oppose that)
