3. Louis XVIII is recognized as the new King of France. French borders return to what they were in 1792.

4. Napoleon heads back to France. Louis XVIII leaves the country and heads to Belgium.

5. The Hundred Days of restored rule for Napoleon begin.

6. Napoleon is defeated at Waterloo.

7. Napoleon is exiled to St. Helena.

8. Napoleon dies while in exile at 51 years old.
