Start Date: 2nd July (Saturday) Return date - 10th July (Sunday) Day 1: Gurgaon to Manali – NH 1 - 562 KM - 14 hours Day 2 & 3 – Manali to Leh – NH 21- 475 KM -14 hours Day 4 – Leh – Diskit Gompa (Nubra Valley) via Khardung la – Sankar Road - 112 KM – 8 hours Day 5 – Leh –Pangong Tso – Yurthung Road – 153 KM – 8 hours Day 6 & 7 – Leh – Srinagar – NH1D - 459 KM – 12 hours Day 8 & 9 - Srinagar – Guragon – NH71 – 878 KMS – 18 hours Its a good idea to keep atleast 3 days extra as buffer to deal with mountain sickness or for extended stay in below places - Add a day in Nubra Valley – Day 10 (Relaxing in Nubra valley - not included in this plan) Add a day in Pangong Lake – Day 11 (Needs special permit due to close proximity to China border – not included in the plan) Add a day in Srinagar – (Dal Lake & Shikara trip- stay in a house boat?)
