Presentation Participants S ERVICE T ERRITORY 2 E LECTRIC S YSTEM  The Utility receives power via a 230-KV/69-KV substation and distributes power to its customers through ten 69-KV/12-KV substations.  200 MW natural gas power plant  115,000 electric meters and recorded a 595 MW system peak in Summer of 2006

3. 3 Park Substation First underground substation built under a park in the United States. Use of Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) technology reduced the required space by approximately 30-40% Capacity to serve 25,000 current and future residential customers. A two-acre play area sits above to provide much needed recreational space for nearby neighbors. Dedicated in 2006. Significant Projects

4. 4 Anaheim Substation Provides reliable electric service to all of Downtown Anaheim. The exterior was constructed to resemble Anaheim’s old Light & Water Works building, an electric generation plant built in the early 1900s. Outfitted with two transformers, enough capacity to provide electricity to 15,000 customers.
