THE FLU Flu/ Influenza (Trangkaso) - Infection of the Upper airways - Acquired thru airborne inhalation - manifested as cough and colds with expectorated greenish to yellowish phlegm, associated with fever, joint pains and body weakness - It may start as a viral condition but if not addressed well, it would progress to a bacterial infection

THE FLU -Initially treatment would involve increase of intake of fluids - Later would involve anti-biotic treatment. (Amoxicillin 500mg 3x a day for 1 week or Co- trimoxazole 400mg/80mg 2 x a day for 1 week) Prevention: 1. Good fluid intake 2. Ample vitamin C and strengthen your health status 3. Avoid crowded places 4. Vaccination (Influenza vaccine 0.5ml once a year)
