Zechariah 9:9… “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and having salvation, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

Donkey teaches us about what Jesus is like. Donkey = symbol of humility, peace, servant, gentleness “I am coming as a servant to give my life as payment for other people.” Servant king = oxymoron Inaccurate perceptions of who God is…
