OBJECTIVES: Students will be able to formulate a controlling impression for their narrative by looping and identify methods of characterization by taking notes.

Looping : (5 min) Who will you be writing about? Write anything and everything that comes to mind. (Loop 1 = freewrite for 5 min.)
