Pick up the two papers from the front table. Take out your study guide and work on questions 1-20. Where should your backpack be? This is still a no gum class. Please dispose of it properly!

History Objective – We will be able to examine the boundary changes Utah underwent to become the state it is today, and why those changes occurred. Language Objective – We will carefully create the map, using several different sources. Behavior Objective – Work Ethic: Stay on task to finish the activity on time.

Utah changed a great deal from the time the Mormons arrived in Utah to becoming a state. Why did the boundaries change so much? We will use several maps to answer this question.

Follow the instructions for steps A-C. Use small, neat handwriting for all of your labels. It will make the rest of the map easier.
