6. Introduction God’s wisdom is contrary to the wisdom of men, and will seem foolish to most. But along the way, and certainly in the end, we will see the fruit of His blessings. By faith we must see them now. 6

God’s Creation Gen. 1:26-27 – “Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.’ So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” Both men & women reflect the image of God. 11. Man Needs A Helper Help - “to surround, i.e., protect or aid… succor” (Strong) “…help has a strong implication of advance toward a goal” (Webster). Man needs a true helper – someone to work by his side to help him glorify God. The Home As God Designed It 11

17. Named Her “Woman” Adam received her with enthusiasm. Adam cherished her as his own flesh. Adam was given the right to name her, thus showing himself as her head. Adam acknowledged her female- ness. (literally, “she-man” or “womb-man” The Home As God Designed It 17
