STRATEGIES: STRATEGIES: Academic Integrity Honor Code Form: The Honor Code was distributed to the student at the beginning of the year and collected as part of the forms collection process. In addition, an Integrity section has been created under the “About TJ” tab on the new website. Included on the Integrity page is a link to the Honor Code. http://www.tjhsst.edu/abouttj/integrity/honorcode.htmlhttp://www.tjhsst.edu/abouttj/integrity/honorcode.html Honor Council: Students who attended the Academic Integrity Workshop at the beginning of the year were selected to serve on the Honor Council. With the Assistance of John Struck and Shawn Stickler, the students attended two all-day Restorative Justice training sessions. In addition, the Honor Council has presented an informational session to faculty members at JLC and will be presenting to students during 8 th Period. The Honor Council is up and running and awaiting their first review. New Student Referral Form: Shawn DeRose has led this process and created a “draft” of the new academic integrity form. He is working with Miruni Tecuci and Brian Phillips to finalize the draft and place the referral on teacher’s desktops (paperless). The new referral will allow teachers to easily report academic integrity violations.

Consequences: The revisions to the consequences of academic integrity violations were approved by the administrative team and posted on the “Integrity” under the “About TJ” tab on the new website. Shawn DeRose presented the revisions at the faculty meeting in early October. Homework Committee: The homework has met twice since the beginning of the year and working toward building a consensus surrounding homework and student course load. Academic Integrity Survey: Anne Applin and Shawn DeRose created and distributed a follow-up survey in December 2013. The survey was completed by 88 faculty members, 313 parents and 711 students. We will distribute a final survey in May and compare the results prior to the end of the school year. STRATEGIES: STRATEGIES: Academic Integrity
