Math Has Four Options Mathematics 7- Based upon the 7 th Grade Indiana Mathematics Standards Pre-algebra End of term grades of “B+” or higher in sixth grade mathematics and “B” in Language Arts Sixth grade ISTEP+ Math score of 520 or higher Sixth grade English/Language Arts score of 460 Pre-algebra Honors -Requires selection to the Academic Challenge Program.

Algebra 1 Honors for 7 th Grade This course is for very high ability mathematics students. Requires classroom teacher recommendation Review and recommendation of the Mathematics Department Chairman, Mr. Nowlin.
