Enrichment classes Most enrichment programs are offered after school from approximately 3:20 to 4:45. Parents must provide transportation home. Students will be notified of upcoming classes –through bulletin announcements and –will need to sign up in the Student Center to participate.

We would love to offer exciting opportunities to the students. If you are interested or know of someone who is, please let us know. Flexible hours – either during school or after school Pick up a flyer if you are interested and return it with your child. Classes currently being scheduled: sign language, dissection, GIS Day Enrichment classes

The University of California at Irvine is once again conducting their Academic Talent Search. Students in grades 6 through 10 may apply to participate. For more information, go on line at www.admissions.uci.edu/a ts/ to apply. www.admissions.uci.edu/a ts/

John Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth (CTY) also has a program which you can register for on line - www.cty.jhu.edu. www.cty.jhu.edu The talent search is open to sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students who achieved in the 97th percentile or better on last year’s CAT 6 test. This is a chance to take the SAT1 test and begin practicing for the college entrance exams.

CAUTION Parents!!! DO NOT elect to take the PSAT!!!!!! National Merit Scholarships and other scholarships are tied to that score – and you only get ONE shot at the PSAT Can take SAT as many times as you want to/can afford!
