You think a perfect cadence is brewing but then you’re hit with a minor chord. IMPERFECT CADENCE Sounds unfinished. They sound like the music needs to carry on. Ends on chord V

15 A cadence is formed by two chords at the end of a passage / excerpt of music. The type of cadence will alter the sound and feeling of the end phrase of the piece of music. And by the sound or feeling of the phrase ending, you will be able to tell which chord progression or cadence is being used
