Must Know for Counselors  Check here 1 st prior to advising students www.csus.edu/admissions  Early preparation = no remediation-take 4 years of math  Admission requirements must be completed by the end of spring 2011 term - summer cannot be used to establish eligibility for fall 2011 admission  Admitting on self-report information – accuracy is very important!  Student name given in the application for admission must match the name used to register for the SAT/ACT

Must Know for Counselors (continued)  Application acknowledgement via Letter & email  Tell students to read their email & My Sac State “To Do List” even after being admitted  Do not send transcripts to Admissions until asked to do so  EPT/ELM are not required for admission but are required for enrollment – EPT/ELM must be taken unless a student meets an exemption  Final high school transcripts must have a graduation date  Upon receipt of final transcripts all admits will be validated - admission will be withdrawn if the student is found to be ineligible  Visit www.csus.edu/admissions  “I have applied; I have been admitted”, etc.
