3 PROPERTY OF LIBRARY ASSOCIATES COMPANIES Milestones YEARMILESTONE 1987 Selected by Large Hospital Management company to operate an in-house law library in a new building the Company built and moved into as its headquarters. Library Associates worked with the architect and space planners to design a library for their large in-house legal staff and all of the building's tenants. The library opened and flourished serving 200 attorneys, under Library Associates' management until 1990 when NME was acquired and the building was sold 1992 Awarded a system-contract to provide large County Public Library System with temporary library personnel. This contract has been re-awarded 4 times, and is currently in effect until 2008. The contract was worth about $75K per year, but it has grown to $360,000 per year, and LA is now the only library services company providing services. 1995 Awarded a 4 year contract to begin a library and provide all services and personnel for a private College & Seminary in Los Angeles. 1997 – Present Awarded the outsourcing contract to manage the San Francisco, Sacramento and Silicon Valley law libraries for one of California's largest law firms. That contract garnered national attention and continues today. 1999 – Present Awarded the outsourcing contract to initiate, develop, staff and manage a business resources center for large automobile corporation. The corporation underwent a global reorganization in 2001 which resulted in the library's closure but did not signal the end of the relationship with LA. LA now manages its corporate archives and video library. 2000 Outsourcing contract - ongoing for the management of national law firm’s libraries in Los Angeles, Orange County, Silicon Valley, New York and Washington DC.

4 PROPERTY OF LIBRARY ASSOCIATES COMPANIES Milestones - continued YEARMILESTONE 2000 Deb Schwarz acquires a small hospital library staffing firm, Medical Library Consultants (MLC) and gained 30 hospital contracts and 10 hospital library staff members. MLC was absorbed into LAC in 2005. 2002 One of 5 firms awarded a Mega-Contract with a prominent government library, an award that has produced 29 individual projects/contracts. LA wins contract with global energy organization to outsource its libraries in Naperville IL and Houston TX. 2003 Library Associates of Maryland, LLC, was founded with the acquisition of Sanad Support Technologies' assets. The initial sale included $3.7 million in booked business through 2007. Deborah Schwarz is the majority owner of LA of Maryland with 75% equity, and Earl Williams is the minority owner with the remaining shares. Since the acquisition that office has grown from $740,000 in 2003 to projected revenues of $7.3 million in 2007. 2004 LA wins contract with global software company to manage the regional library in Silicon Valley. 2005 LA's contract with global software company is extended to include regional libraries in North Carolina and Texas. 2006 LA of Maryland was awarded a 5 year contract for the management and operation of large government agency library and knowledge management activities. 2007 LA of Maryland subcontractor with a strategic partner to manage and staff the library, learning resource center and knowledge management functions for government agency’s national and foreign staff.
