still Collocations Still is the adverb most frequently used with continuous verb structures: e.g. It still was raining. Still + not is common with the present and the present perfect: e.g. I still haven’t paid the electricity bill. Still often occurs in contexts with even if or even though: e.g. Even though you are a tourist, you still need a visa.
