3 Structure & Governance Summary o Partnership established as a Company Limited by Guarantee. o 28 participating schools are “Members” – subject to payment of £10k annual subscription. o Membership open to Bradford secondary schools initially. o Members elect three “Directors” to develop and run the Partnership on a two year commitment: Chair, Vice Chair and Chief Executive. Directors must be serving headteachers/principals.

4 Six Objectives for Launch Risk Assessment, Score Card, and Self Evaluation Framework. Common methodology for school evaluation Clarity about success and failure Depersonalise issues Deliver Member entitlement to school review service Two visits a year. Expert external challenge. Focus school support on key areas of need Subject Leaders of Education Teach Bradford & Impact Teachers. Develop data models to identify patterns across Bradford. Existing Provision + Teaching School. TLOD & Future Leaders. Provide leadership development and CPD LA knowledge of its schools. Impact on OFSTED, OSC Establish protocols with key stakeholders

21 Successes in Our First 18 months o We have halved the gap between Bradford and the national average o No surprises: all Bradford Partnership judgements upheld by subsequent Ofsted inspections. o No Bradford secondary schools in Special Measures for the first time in over a decade. o We have doubled the number of schools judged Good or Outstanding from 7 to 14 out of a total of 28.
