Salt & Pepper Shaker Small containers used for dispensing salt and pepper onto food.

Bread and Butter Bread and butter plate- Plate used to place bread and butter. Butter Knife- Small knife used to spread butter.

Salad Plate Plate used to serve the salad or dessert course of a meal, they resemble dinner plates and range in size from 6" to 8.” Salad Plate Dinner Plate

Steak Knife A small serrated knife used for cutting steak and other meat.

Seafood Fork Fork used for eating seafood and assisting with the opening of shellfish (also known as a cocktail fork).

Table Setting General Rules 1 Wash your hands: we will be working with items, guests will eat with. Clean slate: Always begin with a clean and ironed slate. Even Steven: Table cloth should be hanging evenly off of table

Table Setting General Rules 2 Wearing gloves: Always wear gloves when polishing silverware or when working with napkins.
