21 NGVs are a “Here and Now Technology” For the foreseeable future, there is no one, silver-bullet, panacea technology or alternative fuel that is going to replace petroleum. We have many options – natural gas, ethanol, methanol, propane, gasoline/diesel hybrids and plug-in hybrids and natural gas hybrids. But we don’t have choices. We have to use all available technologies and fuels – and NGVs ARE AVAILABLE NOW.
