No organized community of practice for collegiate business school IT officers Communities of practice provide a setting in which many quality improvement activities take place –Benchmarking – Reality Check –Common Solutions “Best Practices” –Economies of Scale – Joint Efforts –Discussion with Peers You Asked for It –Initial response from survey of Business Schools indicated an overwhelming interest.

5. What is the Technology in Business Roundtable? Mission: –“To meet the unique information technology challenges faced by business schools by fostering collaboration among business schools and colleges technology leadership” Goals: –Improve overall quality of our technology efforts –Share best practices and network in an environment of trust –Foster collaboration among technology leaders at peer institutions
