12. 05/16/2005May Chinese Auction & Show 'N Tell The program for our May meeting was our second Chinese Auction fundraiser. This is a fun way for us to raise some money for guild projects. “One quilter’s discard is another quilter’s treasure.” So, in April we cleaned our sewing rooms and brought projects and supplies in which we had lost interest, but knew someone else would cherish. We bought tickets (ten for a buck) and placed them in lunch bags near the items which we wanted.
