Why West Delhi is a preferred area West Delhi will be the centre of industrial and infrastructural development activities in the next 10 - 15 years. In MPD- 2021, out of 60,000 hectares - slated for the development, about 40,000 hectares lie in West Delhi. Rising costs of land and non availability in Delhi for commercial spaces was a major reason why investors were forced to choose NCR.
