3 EAM-I Conference, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, June 21-25, 2009 Focus: International Sustainable Entrepreneurship Education Social and economic realities require developing socially beneficial small businesses Environmental crises require increasing businesses’ environmental performance Geopolitical-economic forces require international approaches and intercultural sensitivity and understanding Developing skills in creating and managing socially, environmentally and economically sustainable businesses in tomorrow’s managers requires education today

4 EAM-I Conference, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, June 21-25, 2009 Funding: The US-Brazil FIPSE- CAPES Program Funding and Administration U.S. Department of Education's Office of Postsecondary Education, through the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE) Fundação Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) of the Brazilian Ministry of Education Purpose To promote student-centered cooperation between the United States and Brazil to increase cross-national education and training opportunities in a wide range of academic and professional disciplines. Fosters university partnerships through the exchange of undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff within the context of bilateral curricular development. Joint Approval of Grant Proposals is Required Consortia: 2 or more schools/nation, publics as lead institutions
