2. Our campaign is to improve recycling at Pedmore, by fundraising within school and taking part in events as a school to raise money to fund for our campaign and maybe try to become an eco-school. SO WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Ideas… -Do a waste audit looking through all the bags to see what we throw away as a school. -Put rubbish into certain piles to see what we’re throwing away -Get organisations to help us with our campaign e.g. waste watch, they look round our school and see where it is appropriate to place bins around our school. -Get bag2school involved -Talk to the school cleaners -Develop an action plan of what we aim to do? When to do it by? How we’re going to do it? -PowerPoint around forms to explain our campaign -Printwaste a company who collect a 1100ltr wheelie bin full of plastic bottles, non confidential paper, tins and cans and flattened cardboard for just £4.00 a week plus £1 rental of the bin.

6. Fundraising for our campaign. In order to get all the facilities we need for our campaign such as paper recycling bins and help fund for collections for the paper. Bag 2 school Bag2school is campaign that gives you money for the amount of clothes given in, they are currently paying £500 a tonne and 50p per kilo. Mufti Day could be a possibility for people to bring in a bag of clothes or 50p to go towards our campaign in order to wear there own clothes as I think it would get more people involved. Is this a possibility?

8. ways to save paper in school. These are some of the ways that save paper: Printing both sides of paper instead of one. Use books instead of folders. Get teachers to send emails instead of printing off letters. Don’t print more then needed (especially the teachers) Send one letter home, if you have got more then one sibling.

9. Our aims… - Raise enough money to be able to buy enough bins for around the school. -Achieve a bronze in the eco-schools system. -Become successful in our campaign and to achieve a good recycling system around school -Get all senior members of staff and teachers involved.
