30. HISTORY: Lipník nad Bečvou Gymnázium has its origins in 1989. In September 1993 was the first step, 35 students were accepted. The following year, they added two new classes. In September 1996 the school year began with three hundred and fifty students. Then middle school was added. It aims to prepare children and teenagers for college or other post-secondary studies, equip them with knowledge, skills and habits necessary for life and to encourage their development and the cultural, aesthetic and social fields.

32. Program Comenius, Which is supported by the European fund education, focuses on the development of cooperation between schools, pupils and teachers from different European countries. Condition for participation in this program is to establish contacts with potential partner schools abroad and the creation of a common project. At the beginning of the 2009/2010 school year, students in this school became part of the multilateral international program and participate in the project so called School and the Integration Engine (School integration as a tool). The project will take place in the school years 2009/2010 and 2010/2011, students and teachers of our school will collaborate with partner schools from Spain, Germany, Hungary and Switzerland. 33. TOPIC: “The school as the Integration Engine" Topic project was created based on the requirements of modern times, which allows people to get diverse work and learning opportunities worldwide. As we all know, each country is characterized by different traditions, customs, values and other languages.
