Camera Installation Camera Installation Use the Red lines to
properly attach the camera to the windshield while adjusting the angel and verifying it is not rotated or tilted.
14
Select the “Measurement system”
Local Information Select your “Country” Select the “Measurement system” Select the “Speed format” Note: Confirm “SLI detected locals” matches the speed sign type and the Speed unit (km/h or mph) of the selected Country Click “Next” to continue
15
Car Information Enter the “Vehicle Chassis Number” Enter the “Front wheel base” (distance between front wheels) Choose “Road driving side” (Right or Left) Enter the “Mount Type” (for C2 series ) Enter the vehicle Details (manufacture, model, year) Car Information will show automatically if exist in vehicle Database. If vehicle details are not in Database, click on Other to add the vehicle details.

Fill in the necessary information: Click “Next” to continue Make sure that the total distance (Right+ Left) will not exceed the front wheel base.
18
Signals Source – CAN-bus installation
If a vehicle was chosen using the: “Vehicle Database”, it is possible to switch the signals source back to Analog (Only for C2 series or Mobileye 5 with E-box) If all signals are available by Vehicle CAN-bus there is no need to choose the Polarity (Option is disabled) Click “Next” to continue
19
Signals Source – Analog installation
Enter the Speed Params (vss rate) if connected to the vehicle’s Analog Speed Signal. Choose the polarity of the Analog signals (choose between High, Low and Not connected) Click “Next” to continue
20
Camera Calibration Camera Calibration Now choose the preferred calibration method. Calibration using TAC - you will continue to “Camera Calibration” slide Automatic calibration – all configuration will be burned to the system and you will proceed to “Signal test & and configuration” slide (or to the Alerts configuration slide, if permitted)
21
Click on “Calculate close TAC” TAC Calibration Camera Calibration
Locate the “TAC Target” exactly in the middle of the vehicle’s front bumper. For cars – close as possible to the front bumper. For trucks – 1 meter away from .front bumper Click on “Calculate close TAC”
22
Click on “Calculate far TAC” TAC Calibration Camera Calibration
Now, move the TAC Target to the Far position (1 meter away from the vehicle's front bumper) and click on “Calculate far TAC” Click on “Calculate far TAC” After “Far TAC calculation” is completed, an image of the close target with red dots will appear
23
If calculation fails, click on “Try Again”
Camera Calibration After TAC calculation is complete, you can see the F.O.E and Camera height results. Click on “Burn Now” If calculation fails, click on “Try Again” In the table beside you can find recommended Horizon values (FOE Y) for different camera heights. Note – FOE Y values may differ by (+) (-) “10” from recommended values.
24
Camera Calibration When Burning process is complete click “OK” in the pop up message Click “Next” to continue
25
when changing any value
Alerts configuration The Alerts Configuration screen enables users to define the system settings (sensitivity values) and disable the system control buttons so drivers cannot modify the system settings. Note: when changing any value You must burn the new configurations For more details please download the full Alerts configuration - User Manual
26
Signal test & configuration
Step 1 – check physical connection of all signals to the Mobileye system (either by CAN or analog). - Signal is not detected by the system - Signal detected by the system, but not activated. - Signal detected and activated. - Signal is disabled. Please pay attention to the instructions in the slides header
27
Signal test & configuration
Step 2 – Activate and verify each signal. If any signal fails the activation test or connection verification click Restart test to test again or activate the signal.
28
Signal test & configuration
Step 3 – Test drive Drive and confirm speed indication in the Setup Wizard matches to the actual speed of the car. After completing speed test, Click “Next” button to finish the wizard or enter the system into “Automatic Calibration” mode. Note 1: If speed doesn’t match the real vehicle speed, change the VSS rate, and click “Burn now” (this is optional only when the Speed Signal source is Analog). Click “Next” to continue Note 2: Click “Video ON” if you want to see the camera image (low resolution)
29
Enhancement Box When E-Box is connected a “E-Box out” button will appear. Enhancement Box features: 2 additional independent configurable analog Outputs.
30
E-Box outputs configuration
Choose the alert type from the list and assign it to the relevant output by clicking Left or Right arrows. Note: Up to 3 Alert Types can be assigned to each output. Note: SLI Alert Type cannot be assigned with other Alert Types
31
E-Box outputs configuration
Choose Alert Output Type: Continuous Output will be active for as long as the alert is active Patterned Output can be configured according to user demands.
32
E-Box outputs configuration
If you choose Alert Output Type: “Patterned” Choose the output Duration Effective – Output will be active for as long as the Alert is active (On/Off) Or Choose to limit the Output Duration by choosing any of the time options in the list. Using the options you can configure the output pattern duration (in milliseconds) Use the “duplicate” button to copy the Alert Type to the second output option. Use the “move” button to move the Alert Type to the second output option.
33
Signal test & configuration
Maintenance Signal test & configuration After E-Box configuration is complete press “Burn now” to burn the new outputs settings Click “Next” to finish the installation
34
Fix Speed What is Fix Speed:
OBD II universal Speed signal acquisition (Speed by Request from OBD2 CAN-bus) without having to perform CAN sniffing. Works only when connected to the OBDII CAN-bus on a bus speed of 250kbs or 500kbs (and only Pins 6 & 14 in OBDII) Can be used when a vehicle has been chosen from the DB and the speed signal is not accurate or not working. Will not affect other signals receiving from the OBDII CAN-Bus.
35
Finish Thank you for using Mobileye Setup Wizard Application.
