Intelligent Systems Roadmap Workshop 2015 Second IS Roadmap workshop to be held in August 2015 at NASA Ames, Mountain View, CA Dates: August 6-7, 2015 (Thu-Fri) TC meeting: August 5, 2015 (Wed 2:00 pm) Goals Increase attendance over 50 attendees at successful inaugural IS Roadmap workshop on August 7-8, 2014 in Dayton, OH Increase participation by ISTC memberships New topics –Big Data –Human-Machine Interaction –ISHM –Computational Intelligence Generate interest with local companies (Google, etc…) and NASA research organizations (ATM, Intelligent Systems Division) Generate revenue stream via registration fees 1

Intelligent Systems Roadmap Workshop 2015 Tentative plenary speakers NASA Ames Center Director, Dr. Pete Worden Google Self-Driving Car Software Lead, Dr. Dmitri Dolgov NASA Flight-Critical Software V&V Lead, Dr. Guillaume Brat Aerospace industry - TBD Format 8 breakout sessions with 15-min presentations by interested participants followed by 5-min discussion One invited session on “Software V&V” to promote better mutual understanding between software and aerospace community Possible short paper submissions which can be published later via e-book format – worth exploring Dissemination of first edition of Intelligent Systems Roadmap report Provide participants report Seek feedback and suggestions for future editions 3
