6  Four members per group  PSA must be 4 minutes long, each group member speaks for one minute on chosen topic  Presentation must have visuals aids  Each group member must write a 3 page paper on the chosen topic  Paper must be MLA writing format (work cited, bibliography, etc.)  Rough Draft due March 25 th, doesn't matter if its an A Day or B Day you MUST turn it in  PSA due April 6 th B Day and April 7 th A Day

8  An extreme harmful eating behavior that can cause serious illness or death  Can be brought on by mental or emotional factors such as poor body image, social and family pressures, and perfectionism  90% of those with eating disorders are women, ages ranging from 16-18 years old  Professional medical and psychological help

9  Anorexia nervosa- the irrational fear of being obese results in severe weight loss and self- imposed starvation  Bulimia nervosa- form of purging or clearing the digestive tract follows cycles of overeating  Binge eating- characterized by compulsive overeating

10  Drastic reduction of body fat may cause women to stop menstruating  Loss of bone density  Low blood pressure  Low body temp  Slowed metabolism  Reduction in organ size  Develop heart problems
