3 Do Now  After doing BA2 and BA3  Are there any concepts that you do not fully understand/feel confident with?

4 Moving Forward  NO Office Hours on Thursday (I am going to two different conferences this weekend to give presentations.)  I will be available after each class today for 1 hour (930-10:30 and 12:30-1:30) to make up for the 2 hours of office hours that I will be missing.  This week there is NO Brief Assignment due this week on Friday.  The next BA is BA4 that is due NEXT Friday (October 3rd)

6 GAME TIME!  Break up into groups of 5  Sit together with your group, and face front  We are going to watch some commercials/look at an advertisement  Please try to make a list of the different rhetorical choices you see being used  You will need to explain what they are and how they are being used

13 Homework due Sunday  Write a rough draft of a thesis statement for the article that you want to do for the 1.1 draft  This will be practice for the BA4  We will workshop these in class on Monday (9/29) so PLEASE PRINT THEM and bring them to class
